My ex likes his friend?

Me and my ex of 3 years broke up last week & he says he likes his bestfriend she knows all are relationship problems.but he said she dnt like him because she wld never try to get with him since he tells her about me. And he tld me tht girls like his tatts so I said ok shldnt u be worry about me liking them. So he went bak nd tld his bestfriend tht he assume tht I thought he was talking about her when he said "girls" which is not true. I ask him did he want to countinue are relationship or not he said idk. What should I do at this point?
