What type of cat is good for me?

im 11 yrs old. and iim movving and my mom said i cAN get a kitten. i hav a few questions. like she wnts to get one from a shelter, do they sell kittens? and i usually get my animals from petsmrt, do they sell kittens there? what are the suppllies i need? will they scrtch up the furniture? im plnniing to keep it in my room for a few weeks wen it first movs in so it can b comfortaroble and away from my annoying nephew. what are the supplies i need? and i hav my own bathroom shuld i put the kitty litter boxx there? i wanna kitten thtt will be playful even wwen its elderly. wwat breed is thtt? bc i dont want a layed bak cat thtts independentt. i wnt one thtt follows me and wants me to play with them every second. :D tyy for answering. and btw ik how to spell this isthe internet so i can care less ;)
